Halloween Look

Hello guys,

Because halloween is just around the corner I wanted to try a very easy and simple look. If you are on budget and you don't want to spend too much time, this makeup look is for you!

All you need is :

• a very light foundation, I used the Loreal True Match in Rose Ivory (which is actually very close to my skin color...) or white face paint.
• a white eyeliner pencil and eyeshadow.

If you have a silver eyeshadow, you can apply it just on the center of the lid.
I also contoured my cheekbones with a taupy-grey color to give definition to my face.

For the hair, I think a very sleek ponytail would do.

And finally, for the outfit, just wear white and accessorize with silver jewelry. And you're done!

Cherry Culture Haul + Swatches

Hello beautiful people,

It might sounds crazy to some of you, but here in France we don't have drugstores. And the cheap make-up isn't actually very cheap. It's been a long time I wanted to try american drugstore brands like NYX, Milani...  and after reading so many reviews I finally decided to try the Cherry Culture website! So here is a little review on the products and some swatches!

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream

They are super creamy! I first, put 5 of them in the basket but then I thought maybe I won't like the formula because I have dry lips and it's matte. But, they are amazing, they go on so well on the lips and they stay long. They have a velvety finish on the lips and you don't even feel the products, it's a really light formula.

NYX Xtreme Lip Cream

This color doesn't suit my complexion at the moment. But I think it will be a great color in summer when I'll be a bit more tan! The formula is again really creamy with a glossy finish. I choose the color nude peach fuzz, it is an apricot color

I don't know if it's just me or what but I feel like it's smells like playdoo? Which is not a bad thing but really surprising!

I heard many youtubers raving about this lipstick, especially the color india which is supposed to be the "perfect nude". Well I'm not too sure about that! Again, maybe I need to be a bit more tan to pull off this color because I'm really pale!

MILANI Color Statement Lipsticks

First, look at that packaging, isn't it gorgeous?! It looks like an expensive lipstick, but it is actually really cheap!

They are super creamy and really pigmented. And it smells delicious!

Jumbo eye pencils

JORDANA - 12 hr made to last in Continuous Almond (2.40$)

L.A. COLORS - Jumbo eye pencil in Sand Castle and Vacation - (1.20$ each)

The Jordana one is a nude color. It is really pigmented and has a matte finish. It says it is also long lasting and water resistant, so perfect for the water line. When I swatched it on my hand it was actually hard to get it off!

The Sand Castle is a bronzy/sandy color it reminds me of the Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and on Bronze. I already used as a base on my eyelid but it creases during the day, so I recommend to use a base under this pencil.

Vacation is an aubergine color, with sparkles in it.

JORDANA Fabuliner

It is a simple eye liner pen, I needed a new one so I randomly picked it up. 

It is not the best eyeliner in the world but it does it job and for $1.80 I can't complain!

Sweet potato cake

The sweet potato cake recipe is one of my favorite! I learnt how to make it from my grandma while I was in Reunion Island. This recipe is really easy to make and is soooo yummy!

You'll need :

• 1kg of sweet potatoes (it is about 2 big potatoes, white or orange it doesn't matter)
• 100 g of flour
• 200 g of butter
• 200 g of sugar (if you are on diet you probably can forget about this recipe..)
• 3 eggs
• Optional : You can add vanilla extract and 2 teaspoon of rum

Step 1

Peel the potatoes and cut them in squares. Put them in a boiling water for about 30 minutes.

Once they're done cooking they should look like that.

Step 2

Mash the potatoes

Step 3

Add the butter and stir

Step 4

Add the sugar and stir

Step 5

Add the 3 eggs and stir

Step 6 

Finally pour the flour and stir constantly while pouring

(Oupsie I totally forgot to photograph this step!)

Step 7

Once you finished stiring and you added all the ingredient one by one, pour the mix into a buttered pan.

You can draw stripes on top with a fork.

Step 8

Put in the oven at 180° celcius for about 40 minutes

TADAAA, finish product

You can eat it while it is still warm or wait until it's cold and put it in the fridge.

My Feelunique order finally arrived!! I was a bit disappointed because it took two weeks to arrive and I had to pay taxes :( But well, now I can enjoy my products!

This face cloths is made of 100% Organic Cotton. It is really gentle on the face. I used it with my face wash to remove most of my make up.

Caudalie Make Up removing cleansing water & Bliss lid+lash make up remover

I only tried it once but I can say that it doesn't sting my eyes and it removes the glue from your fake eyelashes really well. There is no particular smell. It says that it is a calming, cool gel formula, oil free and non-irratating.
UPDATE : I do not recommend this product at all if you have sensitive eyes! It's been now a week I'm using it and it's literally burning my eyes!

Caudalie Make Up removing cleansing water - 10,13€ HERE

After removing most of my make up with the face wash and the cloth, I used it to remove what was left on my face. I also used it in the morning, your skin feels fresh and I love the smell of it, organic grapes water and camomile.

Tangle Teezer Original Professional Detangling Hairbrush - 12,75€ HERE

I heard so many youtubers and bloggers raving about this brush, so I finally decided to give it a try. At first I was like "what's the heck, it does absolutely nothing!", but then my hair became really smooth and shiny! It gives your scalp a little massage and you can use it on wet hair! I'm really happy with my purchase!
